David Pellegrene has been performing professionally as a singer/pianist since the age of 15 and wrote an original composition performed by the St Paul Chamber Orchestra at just 14.


David has studied practically every area of the performing arts reaching the ranks of professional actor, singer, dancer, and pianist, and as a result, shared the stage with great talents such Rita Moreno, Bob Newhart, Amy Grant, Melba Moore, and opera diva Denyce Graves.
David holds a B.A. in music from Clarke University turning down The Julliard School of Music and becoming a member of the Actors equity association soon after finishing his formal studies.


Performing with the Minnesota Opera Company and regional theatre in the Minneapolis area, David packed up and moved to NYC in 1991 to continue his professional career in the Big Apple.


As a regular performer in some of NYC hot spots including the Townhouse of N.Y.C. (for the past 26 years) Uncles Charlie's (New York City's Premier Piano bar), Pegasus, and Brandy's, David also performed at the Rainbow Room, Palace Theatre, New Amsterdam Theatre, The Algonquin, The Plaza , Carlyle, and Waldorf hotels, Radio City, Stonewall Bistro, Smoke, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC. David has performed in venues all over the United States and owes a great deal of his success to his family, friends and excellent training from great teachers such as John Lease, Barbara Kierig, Oksana Bryn and Broadway's Tony award winner Betty Buckley. Piano training with the wonderful Julia Durig and Nancy Lease.


David is currently residing in Orlando and continues to perform and teach. He is currently on staff at Elevate Studios where he teaches Vocal Technique classes as well as private voice lessons.
